what a busy day

yesterday was a hell busy day for both of us.. we have to go all around jakarta to get things done for our future house and also to repair my dearest computer.. so 2 weeks ago (before moving to the rent house) my computer crashed and my boyfriend had tried many many ways to get it fixed but he failed.. then he found out that my WD hdd was corrupted.. I tried to contact WD Indonesia to get it serviced but I was dissapointed that WD doesn't' have any service center for HDD.. they only give replacement for their products during warranty period.. so we decided to buy new HDD at Mangga Dua and I refused to buy another WD even though it's #1 in the internet review.. 

then my dad said that the well-digger will start working on Saturday morning and we need to buy some anti-lightning cables to be inserted during the digging process.. he also asked me to check the jet-pump prices at Kenari Mas.. so my boyfriend and I got to go to Kenari Mas to buy the cables, bring it home, then go to Mangga Dua to find some new HDD.. 

so on Saturday morning, my boyfriend picked me up at Bambu Duri (our rent house) and don't forget that I got angry at him because he's late (again!).. I felt that he's ruining our whole-day schedule remembering we needed to go all around Jakarta and Mangga Dua usually closed at 5 pm.. so I didn't allow him to eat kue putu bambu I bought at previous night.. LOL~ first we went to my home because my Dad asked me to come but because we're late, the well-digger's boss already gone.. here's the progress of the digging:

around 11 am, we arrived at Kenari Mas and the place was amazingly full of people.. for you who didn't know what Kenari Mas is, it's a central market in Jakarta for electrical utilities such as lamps, machines, cables, and some of the shops also provides plumbing utilities.. I already had some recommended places from my friend but it's hard to find so when we found shop that sell jet-pump, we decided to ask the price.. my dad & uncle (and also the internet) recommended Sanyo, Hitachi, Grundfoss, Nochi, or Wasser but the first three are the most expensive so my coworker said Wasser is also okay.. my dad also said that we better took the stainless steel one, if possible.. so here's some of the prices we got.. sorry for the incovenience, but I've tried several ways to rotate the pics but everytime I upload here, they screwed up..

 

while searching for another shops, we bought the anti-lightning cables and some LED bulbs at Pioneer Shop (recommended by Aneka Pompa owner).. the shop was fully loaded of buyers so we believed the price is quite okay.. we bought 5 meters of 24mm copper cables (@IDR 19.500/m) and four 7 watt Phillips LED bulbs (@IDR 55.000).. I prefer the cool daylight tone than warm white tone because warm white is actually yellow and I really hate yellowish lamp.. I cannot imagine how my friend's house looks like because he once said to me that all lamps at his house were warm white tone.. total damage here: IDR 512.500 (paid by me)

because Aneka Pompa (which is recommended by my friend) gave us the lowest price, we decided to get back and buy the jet-pump here.. we finally bought the Hitachi with stainless steel tank.. we got it for IDR 4.6 mio here while other shops set the price around IDR 4.8 - 4.9 mio! please be noted that the shop only receive CASH payment.. but the BCA ATM was quite near from here, but you need to go down 1 level.. the shop-owner also recommend us to buy some brass extension to prevent the pump from being blocked because the pipes were plastic.. then she told her handyman to install the extension to the pipe.. total damage at this shop: IDR 4.850.000 (paid by ncen-boy)

since the machine was quite big and heavy, we decided that I went home by taxi bringing all the stuffs and my boyfriend ride his bike home.. I thought the machine is not that heavy because the handyman brought it alone.. but when I arrived home, I asked the taxi driver to take it out yet he couldn't carry it alone.. so my boyfriend helped him to carry it down.. total damage by taxi: IDR 45.000 (paid by me)

after taking a rest for a while, we began to start our next trip: bringing his desk fan home.. he got it from office's 17th celebration doorprize but he hadn't take it home.. so yesterday I helped him to carry it home.. such a lovely and understanding girlfriend, ain't I? LOL~

it was around half past two in the afternoon so I was really really hungry.. then we stopped by at Bubur Sapo Bun Ong, Bandengan.. we bought some groupon voucher and redeemed it there.. we got 2 portions of porridge and 1/4 steamed chicken (pak cham kee).. I chose chasio porridge, and he chose pitan egg porridge.. it was delicious but extremely hot.. we decided to add some cakwe and I bought 1/2 portion of steamed chicken for my parents.. total damage: IDR 56.000 (paid by me, exclude voucher)

I also bought some bread at Home Made bakery nearby for tomorrow's breakkie.. then we went to his home to put the desk fan.. there's some accident here.. my bag fell down and my bottle drink opened so my bag was totally wet.. then I got angry again *facepalm* 

since it's already 3 pm, I forced him to go to MangDu now.. we directly went to Viraindo (Mall Mangga Dua 5th floor) which is famous for its cheap prices.. but there's no Hitachi HDD internal there.. then we decided to go to Enter Komputer (Mall Mangga Dua 4th floor) which is Viraindo's rivalry.. I thought it was closed already but then we looked down to the right and we realized that it's moved to a much much bigger place and its previous shop is now used for warehouse.. wow wow wow.. it even has some marketing counters to place orders, the cashier counter, and the last counter to take your orders.. it also has some monitor to view the queue line and they will call your name once your order ready.. I'm so amazed by the shop's progress.. but sadly, when I already at the cashier, the marketing ran to me and said the Hitachi HDD internal was not available.. then I decided to cancelled and take the reimbursement.. evidently the stock flow was not fully developed there.. I told my boyfriend to rush to Viraindo and buy some seagate HDD there because it's cheaper there while I was waiting for my order.. I bought TP Link wifi receiver for my PC and DVD-RW external for my sister.. she will buy new laptop (which actually ordered by my boyfriend and we have to take it to Bali next month) but the new laptop she wants doesn't has DVD slot since she wants a light laptop.. so this pretty and understanding lil sister decided to buy DVD-RW for her.. xixixi~ total damage at Viraindo & Enterkomputer: around IDR 900k

after that we went to si engkoh tukang jual dvd (dvd seller).. we bought some DVDs there.. then my boyfriend wanted to buy COMEBUY but we cannot find it.. maybe it's closed already.. so we bought mcflurry instead hohoho

at around 5 pm, we decided to go to Estu Rame (he chose this place).. actually months earlier, we already went to Tanah Sereal to find the restaurant but we couldn't find it.. his friend gave a very weird hint: "you need to find Martabak Iwan first along the Jembatan Lima area (jl. KH Mas Mansyur) then you took the opposite direction and there's the Estu Rame".. maybe last time we went there, Martabak Iwan was closed so we couldn't find it.. this time we spotted Martabak Iwan on the right, then we turned left at Jl. Tanah Sereal XVIII (there's no road signage, but there's some dentist signage there called Drg. Husni Husada). Estu Rame is famous for its fresh cow milk.. but they also sell some delicious traditional food such as nasi goreng, soto, nasi rames, etc. I decided to order the nasi goreng spesial and susu madu, he ordered soto babat & daging and kopi susu.. we're satisfied with our orders.. the food was delicious and the milk was really fresh!!! I even took 1 liter home for my parents.. hahaha.. I forgot the price but it was less than IDR 100k.. the nasi goreng was 15k, 1 liter milk cost 14k, susu madu and kopi susu each cost around 9k.. we also bought some Martabak Iwan.. 1/2 keju 1/2 coklat kacang wijen for only IDR 38k.. so cheap! the queue was horror but the martabak is really really delicious.. my mom even said that it's more delicious than the famous (and expensive) martabak pecenongan.. hahaha.. the topping was very generous and thick..
